It is with a sense of immense pride that our institution, the St. John’s College of Nursing, in its Silver Jubilee Year (October 2013 to September 2014), is hosting the 15th ICNE Conference on the 2nd and 3rd of September, 2014.

The International Centre for Nursing Ethics (ICNE) is a worldwide collaboration of researchers in nursing ethics focusing on issues of morality, professional ethics, philosophy of care, cultural and religious values, law and accountability. The Founding Directors were Verena Tschudin and Geoffrey Hunt. The ICNE is independent of trade organizations, unions and professional associations. It has its headquarters at the University of Surrey (Division of Health & Social Care), Guildford, UK. It was launched at the University in June 1999.

St. John’s College of Nursing is celebrating the Silver Jubilee year from October 2013 to September 2014. This is a Catholic Institution that seeks to make a qualitative contribution to health care, nursing education and research through the training of nursing students, who are dedicated to healing. This institution strongly believes, every individual in the academy imbibes ethical values which governs every sphere of his or her work. This ethical spirit is reinforced through institutional ethical review board and ethical classes for medical and nursing students.
